4ft wide and 6ft 3 inches long. Standard small double bed dimensions put them at 6 inches smaller in width in comparison to a normal-sized double bed. Regular double beds are typically 4ft and 6 inches wide. Both small doubles and regular doubles are the same lengths, however. 

Is a small double big enough for 2?

Yes. Small double divans are spacious enough to accommodate two sleepers. The appeal is that they’re still big enough to cater for two even with their smaller size. A small double is very handy for bedrooms where space is limited. 

Is a small double the same as a 3/4 bed?

Yes. A small double is also sometimes referred to as a ‘three quarter’ or even a ‘queen-sized’ bed.
